Can I screen films in the libraries?

Yes, as long as the screening is private. Find a library study room or classroom with a screen.

Public performance rights are required for most public screenings, check Search.Libraries to see if Oberlin already has the rights and learn more about relevant laws and policies related to Public Performance Rights.

The Terrell Main Library has full-size Blu-ray/DVD players (DVD regions 1-7, Blu-ray region A) in the following reservable rooms:

Additional external DVD/Blu-ray drives (DVD region 1, Blu-ray region A, DVD region 2) that connect to laptops via USB can be checked out at the circulation desk and used in any study room in the libraries.

The Conservatory Library listening room (seats 4, small screen, headphones recommended) has VCR, laserdisc, and reel to reel players. Visit the conservatory circulation desk to reserve the listening room.

The Art Library has one open VCR/DVD viewing station. Inquire at the circulation desk and bring your own headphones if you wish to use this.
