El Ungar presenting slideshow of Ōtsu-e prints.
In February, student El Ungar '26 hosted a Japanese table on Ōtsu-e prints held in Terrell Library's Special Collections, using digital images to introduce the folk-art form and facilitate a matching game. The prints are among 115 works digitized in 2025 by six Obies: Kevin Liu, Bolam Choi ’25, Adriana Hernandez, Kai Peters, Kaya Perelman, Eleanor O’Brien, and East Asian Studies Librarian Yilin La.
