Water restored in Terrell
November 03, 2021
Update, 11/5/21, 5:00p.m.: The water boil alert has been lifted and water is safe to drink.
The Seeley G. Mudd Center, home to the Terrell Main Library, will have no water service on Thursday, November 4, 2021, beginning at 8 a.m.
Due to repairs involving a valve installation on the water line affecting Mudd Center and the Service Building, water use will be restricted and a boil alert will be in effect following these repairs for at least the following 24 hours.
Water service will be turned off at 8 am affecting use of toilet facilities and water for hygiene purposes and consumption. After repairs are complete, use of toilet facilities will be restored. However, a Water Boil Alert will be in effect until results of testing are received indicating the use of water for personal consumption such as drinking, cooking or dental hygiene, is safe.
Please plan accordingly.
