The Friends of the Oberlin College Libraries Presents Jay Fiskio

On Wednesday, October 27 at 4:30 p.m., Professor Jay Fiskio will discuss her new book Climate Change, Literature, and Environmental Justice, which focuses on practices of dissent, speculative fiction, and social care. She will talk about the ways that environmental justice communities protect and repair the world through expressive culture, including dancing, cooking, and blockades.

This event is free and open to the public. It will take place in person (Norman C. Craig Lecture Hall, Science Center, 119 Woodland Street, Oberlin, OH 44074) and be livestreamed via Zoom. Register to receive an email with the Zoom link.
