Parking
Parking on Campus
We reserve spaces for visitor parking exclusively for guests of the college. The main visitor lot is the east Service Building lot, and the south row of the Carnegie Building lot for visitors to offices within that building. Visitors may park in available spaces in other faculty/staff lots and may obtain a temporary parking permit without charge from the campus safety office.
If you are visiting the admissions office of the College of Arts and Sciences or the Conservatory of Music, see Upon Arrival for parking recommendations.
Public Parking
The Oberlin Business District is intended for patrons of downtown businesses. The city enforces a two-hour parking limit. Residential street parking is limited to 48 hours. Enforcement includes penalties of citations up to towing at owner expense. From November 1 until April 1 each year, a snow ban is in effect and parking on streets is prohibited between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Be aware of city ordinances.
