Overview
An exhibition of fossils from the Geosciences Department in partnership with Oberlin College Libraries will be displayed in the Mary Church Terrell Main Library exhibition gallery (main level) and in Science Library. Combining science with a pinch of fun, Paleontology (GEOS 320) students conducted research on arthropods, corals, echinoderms, plants, and sponges housed in the Carnegie building fossil collection. After gathering information, they curated and designed different exhibits reflecting their creativity and curiosity during their exploratory journey, generating a well-informed artistic endeavor bringing the ancient world to our modern life.
