Printing, Copying & Scanning

PRINTING

Use PaperCut (software) for printing. An ObieID or Sponsored Account is required. 

Refund requests are handled through Papercut or by the CIT.

Students, staff, faculty, and curators are allotted $40 for printing per semester on their Papercut accounts. For additional funds contact CIT.

Photocopying

  • The Art Library has both a black & white and a color photocopier.
  • OCID or a guest card is required to make photocopies. Additional funds can be added via Obie Dollars accounts. 
  • Transparencies are available for purchase at the Circulation Desk; all other transparencies must be pre-approved by Library permanent Staff.

Scanning

  • There is no charge for scanning.
  • Photocopy machines in all libraries can be used to scan materials.
  • Files are saved as PDFs and can be saved to a USB drive or emailed.
  • Flatbed scanners are available in the Main, Art, and Science Libraries.  The Art Library flatbed scanner has a "transparent media adapter" for scanning slides, negatives, and transparencies. 
  • The Art Library has a cradle scanner that exports text in several file formats. PDFs include character recognition.
