Collections

The Oberlin College Libraries hold a wide variety of materials in support of teaching, learning, and research.

Our collections include books, journals, scores, audio and video recordings, microform, and other physical materials housed in the Mary Church Terrell Main Library, the Clarence Ward Art Library, the Conservatory Library, the Science Library, and the Carnegie building. Additionally, the Libraries hold many scholarly published electronic resources–including databases, e-books, e-journals, and streaming audio and video. You can find these collections and more using our Search Tools. And for more information about how we manage our collections, please read our Collections Statement.

Here you can explore the distinctive collections in our holdings, including our wide-ranging Special Collections. The unique materials of the East Asian Collection and Visual Resources Collection are also available to enhance specialized teaching and learning on campus. And our Digital Collections feature scholarship produced by the Oberlin community and digitized content from our collections.
